Investing in your mental health is one of the most valuable decisions you can make for lifelong change. We currently accept insurance from Kaiser, United, and Aetna. However, it's important to note that insurance may not cover all services and typically requires a billing code that demonstrates "medical necessity," which involves providing a mental health diagnosis.
Given the rising costs of health insurance deductibles, it might actually be more affordable to pay out-of-pocket rather than using insurance. Many clients choose not to use insurance to avoid potential confusion and reimbursement challenges. To further streamline reimbursement for out-of-network costs, we have partnered with Thrizer. Thrizer helps manage and expedite reimbursement processes, allowing you to focus on your healing journey without added stress.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about using insurance or wish to consider this option. Your investment in counseling is an investment in a more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

We accept payment by cash, check, credit card or debit card. Many clients also use their HSA accounts, provided they carry a symbol from a major credit card company. Receipts of payment are available upon request.
To make the payment process as smooth as possible, we offer the ability to utilize a system directly through the electronic health record, which streamlines the entire transaction.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" detailing the expected costs of your medical care. This applies to patients without insurance or those not using insurance. Healthcare providers must give you an estimate of the total expected cost for any non-emergency items or services, including related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Ensure that your healthcare provider provides you with a written Good Faith Estimate at least one business day before your scheduled service or item. You can also request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling any item or service. If you receive a bill that exceeds your Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute the bill. Be sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775
